In Thailand there are lots of tourist attractions ranging across the country. In the Krabi providence it houses many famous beaches including the Railay Beach which is the most stunning out of all of them. In the Capital of the country Bangkok, there are many temples which tourists can visit. The most important temple is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Just a few minutes away are Wat Po and Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn which are a great place to watch the sunset. For someone who enjoys animals, in the Khao Yai national park a person can run into elephants, exotic birds of prey, monkeys and other tropical creatures.
Thailand is the 50th largest country in the world by land area totally 513,120 square kilometers. The north of the Island is dominated by rocky mountains which reach thousands of feet above sea level. The center of the country is dominated by the flat Chao Phraya river valley which runs into the Gulf of Thailand. Thailand has a temperate climate, a year in Thailand is divided into 3 seasons. Most of the year however is very wet averaging 1200 - 1600mm with most of it falling between August and September.
